T.I.C. Parts & Service in Neepawa, MB is inviting applications for the position of Agricultural equipment technician. The candidate should be self-motivated with good interpersonal skills and be available to start as soon as possible.

The role is a permanent, full-time position with day and overtime shifts. Successful applicants will work in a fast-paced environment, troubleshoot and diagnose equipment faults, perform repairs, and maintain comprehensive maintenance records.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English.
• Certificate or diploma in other trades or equivalent experience.
• Candidate experience is an asset.
• Able to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
• Diagnose faults using computerized testing equipment to determine repairs.
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
• Maintain maintenance reports and documentation.
• Test repaired equipment to meet manufacturer specifications.
• Attach components and adjust new farm equipment.
• Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance tasks.
• Service attachments and working tools.
• Verify and repair emission control systems.

• The candidate will be required to troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.


• The candidate will be required to diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerised and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.

• The candidate must keep maintenance reports and documentation.


• The candidate will be expected to test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that the work meets the specifications of the manufacturer.
