Job summary

Richardson International, through Richardson Pioneer, invites applications for Agribusiness Summer Students at Ag Business Centres across Manitoba. You will support crop input activities, assist with crop scouting, soil and tissue testing, and help with grain purchase, storage and shipping.

Ideal candidates have a passion for agriculture, are self-motivated, organized, and possess strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong interest and knowledge of Agriculture
• Highly self-motivated, organized and detail oriented
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Students or graduates of an Agriculture degree or diploma program focusing on Agronomy, Plant Science or Soil Science
• A valid driver's licence is required
• Agriculture background is considered an asset but not required

• Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner

Summer Students are responsible for providing support to our teams at Richardson Pioneer and for supporting the efficient and profitable operation of our Ag Business Centres.
