Job summary

Métis Nation of Ontario is seeking an Aging at Home Coordinator to support seniors 55+ with home services, friendly visiting, light housekeeping, meal prep, and transportation coordination. You will track contracted lawn care and snow removal, manage OHATS and Excel records, and ensure services align with our Statement of Prime Purpose.

The role requires experience with volunteers, client services, and elderly populations, plus proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Experience working with volunteers in a non-profit environment.
• 1+ years’ experience in client services.
• 1+ years’ experience working with elderly population (55+).
• Proficiency with computer programs (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Ensure Aging at Home program is delivered per Métis Nation of Ontario’s Statement of Prime Purpose.
• Provide client services such as home service or friendly visits, and service coordination with outside agencies.
• Coordinate and track contracted lawn care and snow removal services.
• Assist clients to access gas cards or transportation for medical appointments per program variables.
• Record client services in OHATS and Excel tracking documents.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy legislation.
