Job Title: Afternoon Shift Supervisor

Job Description

Join a forward-thinking company specializing in the manufacture of high-efficiency transformer units and power distribution solutions. We are seeking an Afternoon Shift Supervisor to ensure timely completion of assembly tasks, crucial for meeting our project deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the assembly of power distribution units using hand and power tools, including screwdrivers, wrenches, and air-compressed power tools.
  • Read and interpret mechanical and electrical diagrams for assembly tasks.
  • Perform electrical wiring to panels and install them into the outer shell of distribution units.
  • Test completed power distribution units to ensure functionality.
  • Engage in general cleaning duties, such as building skids and other assigned tasks.
  • Collaborate closely with a buddy system to ensure comprehensive understanding of mechanical assembly procedures.
  • Supervise team members to foster development and ensure efficient workflow.
Essential Skills
  • 2‑3+ years of experience in electrical wiring and assembly.
  • 2+ years of experience reading and working from electrical schematics.
  • 1+ years of experience in mechanical assembly with hand and power tools.
  • 2+ years of team lead experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong team management and supervisory skills.
  • Experience in production management and plant operations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brampton, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $34.00/hr.
