Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as Millwright Mechanic, Maintenance technician or Electrician.
• Knowledge of PLC, robotics, HMIs, and controls preferred.
• Flexibility to work afternoons and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Responsible for adherence to Health and Safety and Food Safety practices.
• Attend to breakdown calls and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.

Skills

Hands on working experience with power transmission systems

Proven machining skills using lathes

Rigging and hoisting experience

Education

Certified NOC 7311 or 'Red Seal' Millwright Mechanics or Provincial Electricians Ticket (442A or 309D)

Tools

Electrical schematics

PLC (Allen Bradley)

Welding, brazing, and soldering
