An Ontario Career College in Peel Region is seeking an Esthetics Program Coordinator. This role involves ensuring accreditation standards, teaching courses, and supervising esthetics faculty. Candidates must have a diploma in Aesthetics and 3 years of industry experience. Strong communication skills and familiarity with medical esthetics equipment are required. Working schedule is Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 4:30 PM.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant and current industry experience as a practicing esthetician.
  • Meets MCU’s teaching eligibility requirements.
  • Experience with coordination preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and coordinate accredited program standards for Esthetics.
  • Provide quality delivery of courses within the central Esthetics program.
  • Supervise the esthetics faculty operating online and on campus.

Job Summary:

Esthetics Program Coordinator plays an integral role in the receipt and maintenance of a Esthetics program’s accreditation. It requires a candidate to teach the program that would assist students in learning the competencies prescribed by the esthetics education and would also prepare them to continue progressing through the placement process.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring, coordinating, and controlling accredited program standards and is the primary point of contact for the Esthetics program with the college.
  • Providing quality delivery of assigned courses within the MCU Esthetics program protocols, utilizing a variety of instruction strategies, techniques and delivery methods to meet the individual learning styles of the students, in a safe and civil learning environment.
  • Teaching assigned courses in accordance with course competencies, taking daily attendance, and as required, grading class tests, assignments and exams.
  • Responsible for and supervising the esthetics faculty operating online and on campus.
  • Assist with the hiring of Esthetics instructors for teaching the required courses.
  • Responsible for overseeing inventory management and ordering of program supplies.
  • Coordination duties also include supporting faculty, monitoring student progress, and assisting with curriculum implementation and compliance.
Skills required:
  • Must fulfill or exceed all the requirements of MCU for Esthetics program.
  • Excellent communication and organization abilities.
  • Working knowledge and hands on experience with MS office.
  • Experience in using medical esthetics equipment.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Focused on day to day tasks as assigned.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Candidate must be available to teach and work on-site at the Brampton campus.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Diploma in Aesthetics or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant and current industry experience as a practicing esthetician.
  • Meets MCU’s teaching eligibility requirements.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Experience with coordination preferred (for Coordinator role).
  • Preference to be given to candidates with both instructional and program coordination experience.

Working Hours- Mon to Fri 9am to 4:30pm

Working Conditions:

  • Esthetics Program Coordinators are provided with the necessary office equipment required to complete daily tasks.

  • Adhere to all CIMT College Policies and Procedures.
  • Comply with all regulatory standards as set out by the Ministry of Training for Colleges and Universities, and the OCC Act, 2005.
