Job summary

Airbus in Mirabel, Quebec, is seeking a Method Agent to join the Method Support team for the A220 Commercial Aircraft Program. You will coordinate essential actions to resolve major assembly line issues and work with engineering, production, logistics and quality to develop updated work methods and instructions.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes in a dynamic aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• College diploma (DEC / AEC) or university degree in mechanical/industrial/aeronautical manufacturing or related discipline.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing sector.
• Knowledge of interior finishing is a plus.
• Understanding of dependencies between positions in the aeronautical manufacturing system.
• Strong leadership, ability to question processes, and willingness to help colleagues grow.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate actions to resolve major issues impacting the assembly line.
• Develop and revise work methodologies and work instructions for production.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, logistics and quality functions.
• Investigate root causes of problems and participate in solution analysis.
• Promote continuous improvement and change management within cross-functional teams.
