Job summary

STELIA North America is seeking a Materials Testing Lead Technician to join the Quality Assurance Team in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. You will lead lab testing, review schedules, and maintain lab documents to ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.

The role requires strong attention to detail, data analysis, and safety awareness, with collaboration across the team to maintain On-time Delivery and quality. This is an on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Three years experience in a quality environment, preferably aerospace.
• Knowledge of ASTM/ISO/EN/MIL-STD standards and lab practices.
• ASQ CQT certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead laboratory testing tasks including material testing for in-process, receiving and development.
• Review testing schedules and provide feedback to managers and schedulers.
• Develop and retain lab documents (test plans, work instructions, procedures).
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of tools and equipment; enforce safety rules.
