Job summary

The Canadian Armed Forces invites applications for Aerospace Control Officers to provide air traffic control and air weapons control across Canadian airspace. You will be part of the Royal Canadian Air Force and contribute to national and international operations.

Expect rigorous training from basic officer training through to aerospace control operations, with potential deployments domestically and abroad within Regular and Reserve service arrangements.

Qualifications

• Direct entry requires CAF assessment of academic program and on‑the‑job training after basic training.
• Military officer qualification training and bachelor degree program are required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide air traffic control services and air weapons control.
• Conduct aerospace surveillance, warning, and control of airborne objects in Canadian airspace.
• Control civilian and military aircraft during combat and training operations worldwide.
• May be deployed to ships, aircraft, or field locations as part of the Regular or Reserve forces.
