Job summary

Sun Life Financial invites you to join the Advisor Development Program, working from a local Sun Life District office in Canada. You will gain knowledge of Sun Life products, tools, processes and practical skills while working directly with Sun Life Clients.

The role focuses on obtaining dual licensing in insurance and mutual funds, handling inbound and outbound calls to provide holistic life, health and wealth solutions, and developing business opportunities to prepare for program graduation

Qualifications

• History of achievements (professional, academic, athletics, etc.)
• Strong knowledge and passion for retail insurance and investment products
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Enjoys engaging, developing and maintaining relationships with people
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to motivate others to action
• LLQP license or completion of all LLQP course/exam requirements (required)
• Mutual Fund License or course/exam completion (nice to have)

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls, providing holistic life, health and wealth solutions to new and existing Clients
• Complete business development activities and identify personal market opportunities
• Execute key activities in preparation for program graduation and launch of an advisor career
• Split time between the Prospr advisor team and exposure to standalone advisor role with local leadership
