Job summary

The City of Laval is seeking a lifeguard for the CLSDS Aquatic Complex in Laval. You will supervise the pool area, teach activities, enforce rules, and ensure user safety on day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Candidates must hold a National Lifeguard certificate, and other Lifesaving Society instructor qualifications are a plus. This is an on-site role at 2205 Terry-Fox Avenue, Laval Aquatic Complex, with reporting to a regional supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current National Lifeguard certificate.
• Additional Lifesaving Society instructor certifications are an asset.
• Water safety and first aid familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Ensure user safety at all times within the pool area.
• Teaches an activity program.
• Enforces pool regulations and maintains discipline.
• Assists in maintenance and reporting.
• Provides first aid and responds to incidents as directed.
