Job summary

UNC Health Urgent Care clinics in the Raleigh area are offering Per Diem | Float Pool opportunities for Nurse Practitioners (FNP) or Physician Assistants (PA). Providers join an interdisciplinary team to treat episodic illnesses, minor injuries, and provide occupational health services and exams.

Ideal candidates have NP/PA training and licensure, experience in acute/urgent care settings, and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Experience in acute care, primary care, urgent care, or emergency room setting preferred.
• NC Licensure or ability to obtain.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Required procedures: Suturing, splinting.
• DOT Certification.
• Knowledge of OSHA recordables preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

UNCHMG Urgent Care clinics, located near Raleigh, NC, have Per Diem | Float Pool openings for Urgent Care Nurse Practitioners (FNP) OR Urgent Care Physician Assistants (PA). Providers are part of an interdisciplinary team and responsible for treating episodic illnesses, minor injuries, and providing occupational health services and exams.

Financial Package

• Competitive Per Diem Pay Rate

Ideal Candidate
