Job summary

Ply Gem Canada is seeking an Advanced Care Paramedic - EHS Coordinator to support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Environmental Health & Safety programs. This role serves as the on-site occupational health and medical response resource and leads WCB claims management and return-to-work efforts.

Key duties include first aid and medical response, injury management, hazard identification, training delivery, audits and COR compliance, and emergency preparedness.

Qualifications

• Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) in good standing with the Alberta College of Paramedics.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an ACP and experience with WCB claims and return-to-work programs.
• Experience supporting EHS programs in manufacturing or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical response, treatment, and stabilization on site.
• Lead injury triage, coordinate modified duties and return-to-work plans.
• Enter and maintain Workers’ Compensation claims and monitor trends.
• Support EHS management system and ensure COR compliance.
• Deliver safety training and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
• Coordinate drills and participate in incident command during emergencies.
