Fraser Health through Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster seeks an Anaesthesia Assistant to join a collaborative surgical team. You will support induction, maintenance, and recovery of anesthesia, under the supervision of a qualified anaesthesiologist, ensuring patient safety and optimal care.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate diploma in Anaesthesia Assistant required.
• Respiratory Therapy Diploma plus 3 years clinical experience or equivalent.
• Eligible for CSRT and BCSRT membership.
• Current CPR, ACLS and NRP certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with induction, maintenance and recovery of anesthesia.
• Set up and calibrate anesthesia and related equipment; monitor and record data.
• Provide patient care within a collaborative surgical team; support peri-operative activities.
