Candidates must be registered with the BC College of Nurses and hold current CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year's psychiatric nursing experience.
• Knowledge of Psychosocial Rehabilitation and assessment methodologies.
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide core mental health services including assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation.
• Develop and implement clinical services based on client rehabilitation plans.
• Contribute to the monitoring and enhancement of the physical site.

Assessment and evaluation of mental health treatment programs

Crisis intervention skills

Good interpersonal skills

Ability to manage aggressive behavior

Education

Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives

Current CPR certification
