Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE) is seeking a Workforce Management & Scheduling Administrator to support daily operations in scheduling approximately 3,000 employees. You will liaise with operations managers, manage schedules, and provide frontline customer service for scheduling and payroll inquiries.

Ideal candidates have strong admin experience, 40 WPM typing, and solid Excel/Outlook skills. Experience with Workforce Software is a plus, and the role requires flexibility for evenings,

Qualifications

  • Administrative experience with transcription typing at a minimum of 40wpm.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel; formatting, filtering, data manipulation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook and email management; you'll receive an average of 100 emails per day to a shared inbox.
  • Proven ability to change focus and re-prioritize in a very fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a unionized environment with a strong understanding of collective bargaining agreements is an asset.
  • Experience with Workforce Software is a definite asset.

Responsibilities

  • Create schedules that adhere to the rules and timelines laid out in multiple collective bargaining agreements.
  • Maintain various communication channels (voicemails, email inboxes).
  • Maintain schedules by coordinating replacements for absences and processing changes to schedules from operational requests.
  • Communicate schedule changes to operations managers and hourly employees, including live schedule changes during games and events.
  • Provide customer service support to client group managers and hourly employees: inquiries, basic technical support for Workforce software, general scheduling, and payroll inquiries.
