A healthcare service provider is seeking an experienced Administrative Support IV in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support, the ideal candidate will have advanced skills, the ability to work independently, and a degree of post-secondary education. This position offers a competitive salary and includes an annual Fort McMurray Allowance.

A permanent full time Administrative Support IV position exists within Recovery Alberta, Fort McMurray area with the Wood Buffalo Addiction and Mental Health Services (WAMHS). Reporting to the Community Addiction & Mental Health Manager, this position is responsible for providing secretarial and administrative support including preparing correspondence and reports, maintaining filing systems, organizing meetings, and recording minutes, booking appointments, answering inquiries, tracking data and information, performing office administration and reception duties and participating in various projects. The candidate must be able to work well with managers and staff and have the ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced multi-task environment. The successful candidate is expected to ensure the effective and efficient management of a wide scope of responsibilities and activities on behalf of the Manager and are the facility resource for all programs. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Fort McMurray Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $12,480. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.
As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.
