Enhancing community care options for Albertans continues to be a key priority for AHS. Our goal is to provide high‑quality diverse community, home, and individual Addiction and Mental Health (AMH) services and to support the long‑term mental health and wellness of Addiction and Mental Health clients and their families. To support this goal, the North Zone Addictions and Mental Health department has an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Support III with the Peace River Mental Health and Addiction (Child/Youth and Adult). As an Administrative Support you will be a member of an inter‑disciplinary team and contribute to the delivery of community based AMH services. The primary focus of the role is being the first point of contact for clients requesting services and professionals requesting information or consultation, in addition to maintaining the schedules for clinical staff within the office and data entry into various AHS approved information systems. Additionally the position is responsible for reception duties, maintains wait lists for appointments, file creation and maintenance, including filing and archiving; maintenance of print and other resources, photocopying, verifies and follows up on inventory and equipment requests (e.g., supply order) and office organization. Completes timekeeping/payroll data entry and follows up on discrepancies. Generates reports, prepares information, creates documents and correspondence (e.g., client letters). Follows up to obtain outstanding documents, reports or information for files. Organizes, validates and inputs data in information systems.
As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.
