Position Summary

Thompson Park Mall has an exciting opportunity for a casual Administrative Services Assistant to join their team in Kamloops, B.C. This position will be working at both Home Health North Shore and South Shore Offices, Northills Mall and Thompson Park Mall.

This position works possible day and evening shifts.

What Will You Work On?

In this role you will perform a variety of reception, administrative and Health Unite Aide support duties including data entry, gathering, organizing, collecting, collating and verifying information, type correspondence, prepares presentations, arranges meetings, type agendas, takes and transcribes minutes, books travel, performs reception duties and record management. You will also be responsible for scheduling and confirming client appointments, receiving, recording and checking balances of cash transactions, maintaining and cleaning medical/surgical supplies, equipment and HCIS resource material.

Clinical support for this role includes cleaning, setting up and dismantling rooms, cleaning/sanitizing toys and equipment, weighing and measuring babies, calibrating equipment, vision screenings. Cleaning medical equipment and instruments, delivering supplies and biological will also be a part of this integral role. You may also work with clients who may be confused, anxious, angry or difficult.

  • A Cover Letter stating your availability to start in a new position and on-call, casual work (i.e. days of the week).
