Administrative Manager

Merwar Lawyers Professional Corporation is seeking an experienced Administrative Manager to coordinate administrative services in a consulting firm environment.

Position Details
  • Location: Mississauga, ON L4Z 1S1
  • Work location: On site
  • Salary: $45.19 per hour (30 hours per week)
  • Terms of employment: Permanent, Full Time
  • Start date: As soon as possible
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate administrative services
  • Collect and record administrative and service fees
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets
  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
  • Direct and advise staff engaged in records management, security, finance, purchasing, human resources or other administrative services
  • Direct and control corporate governance and regulatory compliance procedures within the organization
  • Plan, administer and control budgets for client projects, contracts, equipment and supplies
  • Prepare reports and briefs for management committees evaluating administrative services
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff
Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in a similar administrative role
  • Computer and technology knowledge: Accounting software
  • Personal suitability: excellent oral and written communication, organized, team player, time management, initiative, attention to detail
  • Work under pressure and tight deadlines
