Job Title: Administrative Coordinator

Job Description

As an Administrative Coordinator, you will be responsible for processing and verifying shipping documents, providing exemplary customer service, scheduling appointments, and performing various clerical and administrative duties. Attention to detail is crucial for this position as it supports the commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities
  • Make telephone calls and send emails to centralized customer service.
  • Book delivery appointments via phone and email.
  • Bill accessorial and additional fees as required.
  • Maintain group email boxes and answer queue calls when needed.
  • Receive calls from drivers not delivering freight for specific reasons, log and note comments.
  • Scan, photocopy, and fax documents.
  • Perform other administrative duties as required, including pulling reports.
  • Audit shipping documents for accuracy, correct and report to supervisor as needed.
  • Understand Federal Transportation Compliance documentation and react to and report non-compliance.

Work Environment

The position is located in a growing terminal in Canada with a stable and long-term employment outlook. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 2 : 00 PM to 10 : 30 PM, and is transit accessible. The work environment includes extended periods of sitting at a workstation, working on a computer or phone, and requires close vision and intense visual concentration over 70% of the time. Noise from loading docks may be present. The role offers a supportive culture with an open-door policy and numerous social events to foster a family-like atmosphere. Once permanent, candidates will have access to a pension plan.

Job Type & Location

This is a long term Contract position based out of Surrey, British Columbia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00 / hr.
