Job summary

Job description
What We Offer :
  • $22 / hour + 4% vacation pay added to your rate
  • Monday to Friday
  • Shift timing may vary but need coverage between 2pm – 10:30pm
  • Weekly pay, every Friday!
  • Immediate start

What You’ll Do :
  • Make telephone calls and send emails to centralized customer service.
  • Book delivery appointments via phone and email.
  • Bill accessorial / additional fees as required.
  • Maintain group email boxes and answer queue calls when required.
  • Receive calls from drivers who are not delivering freight for specific reasons, log and note comments in pros.
  • Scan, photocopy, and fax documents.
  • Other administrative duties as required (which could include pulling reports).
  • Audit shipping documents for accuracy, correct and report to supervisor as needed.
What We’re Looking For :
  • Previous experience in the same or similar role is required.
  • Clean criminal background is required.
  • Transportation or operational experience is preferred, various roles within transportation and customer service is beneficial.
  • Excellent computer (accuracy, MS products, web-based programs such as TruckMate) and keyboard skills.
  • Advanced communication skills.
  • Able to meet deadlines in a highly transactional, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member or individually as required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Must be fluent in English.
