Job description

Our client, a regulatory leader in central Edmonton, is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to support ongoing Competency programs on a 12-month contract starting in March.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to coordinate the administration of policies, processes, and programs that support the ongoing development of medical professionals. This role ensures that these professionals have the resources and guidance needed to enhance their skills and provide high-quality care.

Responsibilities

  1. Administer and manage continuing competence programs, including additional prescribing authorization applications.
  2. Provide guidance and respond to inquiries regarding program requirements, assessments, and learning opportunities.
  3. Maintain accurate records, manage databases, and collaborate with IT to resolve system issues.
  4. Review applications and coordinate assessments, coaching, and other professional development activities.
  5. Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of educational programs and departmental procedures.
  6. Organize meetings, training sessions, and committee gatherings, including logistics, agendas, and documentation.
  7. Prepare reports, correspondence, and presentations as required.
  8. Act as the primary point of contact for competence-related inquiries.
Qualifications
  1. Diploma or degree in business administration or a related field.
  2. 3-5 years of experience in a similar administrative or program coordination role.
  3. Experience preparing reports, coordinating events, and managing projects.
  4. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  5. Experience working in a medical regulatory environment will be an asset.
