Responsibilities
  • Responsible to provide administrative assistance including answering the phone, scheduling appointments and completing data entry on a daily basis
  • Provide support to the team members and excel at customer service related tasks
  • Assist in the administration of formal insolvency appointments including bankruptcies, proposals and receiverships
  • Follow- up with creditors regarding submitting paperwork or file particulars
  • Assist in e-filing relevant documents in a timely manner
  • Prepare schedules, reports and other documents
  • Develop a thorough understanding of MNP's services, business and industry
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
  • Promote regular attendance, balanced lifestyle and high standard of team wellness
  • Attend internal MNP courses to further develop knowledge around performance improvement
Skills and Experience
  • 2 years of post‑secondary education
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience, ideally in a professional services environment is an asset
  • Interest in learning about Bankruptcy in Insolvency Act (BIA).
  • Willingness to take the Insolvency Counsellor qualification program course to become a qualified Insolvency Counsellor
  • Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and ability to learn new technology
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong understanding of the importance of timeliness and responsiveness
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Committed team player with comfortability working independently
