The Administrative Assistant at CancerCare MB (CCMB) will be responsible for providing high level administrative support and office management to the staff in the Radiation Oncology Program (ROP). The incumbent will provide confidential administrative support for ROP leadership, enter payroll, support program statistics and perform other duties as assigned to meet the objectives of the ROP. The incumbent will also assist the department with hiring, coordination and minute taking of meetings, preparation and upkeep of administrative standard operating procedures, preparation of financial paperwork and coverage for out-of-scope administrative duties. The Administrative Assistant will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize a large complex workload to meet deadlines. The incumbent has the ability to coordinate workflow and meet deadlines with frequent interruptions, exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and be willing to assume a variety of assignments, as required. The candidate must be a self-starter, have the ability to work both independently and in a team setting with minimal supervision.
An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
