Ministry: 036 Social Services Salary Range : $26.002 - $32.589 HourlyGrade : SGEU.06.

The Ministry of Social Services is seeking a responsible, well‑organized, energetic individual to provide reception and administrative support within Child and Family Programs.

This position will support Community Services delivery. This includes managing calendars, arranging meetings and providing confidential support as required; developing databases and spreadsheets, processing various types of payments; proofreading reports, preparing correspondence (Minister’s Orders, letters, memorandums), preparing licenses for group homes as well as searching for information in LINKIN. This position also holds the Purchase Card.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of office management practices and procedures, including paper and electronic filing systems. You will have the demonstrated ability to accurately and quickly design, format and modify complex documents such as briefing notes, memorandums and letters, using advanced features of computer software packages such as word processing, spreadsheet software and databases. It is important to note that expertise in managing spreadsheets and databases is essential and a requirement for this position.
