Our focus is to incorporate the latest technological advances to provide the most cost-effective and efficient solutions to power system engineering. This focus allows us to be involved in a diverse range of projects from conceptual engineering through to commissioning and startup.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated “Administrative Assistant” to join our Mississauga, Ontario location to help with office and project tasks. This is a new role within a growing office, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to make the position their own.

Responsibilities
  • Daily office duties including:
  • Answering and directing phone calls
  • Receiving visitors
  • Assisting with employee queries
  • Ordering and vendor invoice verification of Office supplies and inventory
  • Travel bookings
  • PPE and swags inventory
  • Arranging meetings and room reservations
  • Assist organizing client and team events
  • Maintain office facilities and common areas
  • Records scanning, filing and all other administrative tasks
  • Assist Calgary Office (HQ) administration team as required
  • Coordinate Incoming and Outgoing Mail & Shipments
  • Assist with vendor callback process
  • Project support duties
  • Assist with project set up
  • Support project cost tracking
  • Support invoicing
  • Permit applications and tracking
  • SAP Entry
  • Document control
Qualifications
  • 2 years office experience in a project support, administration or receptionist role
  • Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication Skills
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Able to take initiative and ownership of tasks
  • Comfortable working individually and in a team
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Experience using JDE and/or SAP is an asset
