Are you a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a talent for organization and project coordination? CBCL is looking for an Administrative Assistant to be an essential part of our daily operations in Fredericton. The successful applicant will support two Fredericton branch offices and will be expected to split time between each location. In this role, you’ll handle a range of responsibilities, including greeting clients, coordinating project activities, formatting documents, and ensuring smooth office operations to support our engineering and project teams. If you enjoy streamlining processes and excel in both client service and document preparation, we’d love to hear from you!

Salary :

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Greeting the public in person and on the phone;
  • Formatting and preparation of letters, reports and proposals;
  • Tracking proposals, project filing, and project archiving;
  • Compiling expense reports, and completing minor accounting functions;
  • Organizing and booking travel for staff;
  • Compiling and possibly taking meeting minutes; and
  • Other general office duties as required.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
  • A college diploma in a business-related field or office management course;
  • Experience in formatting and preparation of reports and proposals;
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong interpersonal, organization and time management skills;
  • Highly professional demeanor with emphasis on client service;
Assets
  • Experience with ISO 9001 policies and procedures and engineering consulting firms;
  • Experience with MS Project, Visio and Adobe software;
