Adecco is currently hiring a full-time highly organized and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to support operations for our client in Edmonton, AB. This role combines reception, administrative, and accounting support responsibilities to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the office and excellent service delivery.

  • Pay Rate : $ 31.12 / hour
  • Location : Edmonton, AB
  • Shift : Monday to Friday | 7 : 000am - 3 : 30pm
  • Job type : Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities :
  • Manage switchboard and reception duties, providing support and phone training as needed.
  • Sort, distribute, and process incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Accurately apply customer payments and maintain account records.
  • Order and manage office supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Process end‑of‑day paperwork, review PAID reports, prepare bank deposits, and maintain accurate daily records.
  • Provide administrative support to the Inside Sales team, including preparing forms, mail‑outs, signage, and promotional materials.
  • Administer depot invoicing and related documentation.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with dispute resolution by preparing required backup documentation.
  • Participate in additional projects and tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications :
  • Completion of Grade 12 with coursework in business, data entry, or information processing.
  • A certificate or diploma in Office Administration or a related field is an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years of office administration experience, including data entry and information processing.
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Self‑motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Professional, dependable, and adaptable in a dynamic work environment.
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
