Overview

Midland Transport is currently seeking a Full-Time Administrative Assistant to be based at our Dartmouth Terminal. The selected candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a "Can Do" attitude.

Responsibilities
  • Complete Time & Attendance for Company employees, City Owner Operators, and Agencies (Transport and Courier)
  • Complete various daily, weekly, monthly & yearly reports
  • Audit invoices, enter and receive POs
  • Monitor terminal mailbox
  • Order office supplies
  • Answer phones
  • Provide Superior Quality Service to our internal and external customers at all times
  • Complete various Terminal Administrative support functions, including back up support when needed to drive business improvements and satisfy customer ongoing needs
Qualifications
  • Education Required: Minimum High School Diploma, college diploma preferred
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced group environment
  • Well organized and detail-oriented
  • Knowledge of the Transportation industry an asset
  • Bilingualism is an asset but not required
