Job summary

A pioneering additive manufacturing firm is seeking a co-op student for a role in mechanical properties characterization and quality control. The successful candidate will be pursuing a degree in Material Science or Mechanical Engineering with a GPA of 3.5 or higher. This position offers hands-on experience in a laboratory-based environment and is ideal for individuals eager to learn technical procedures and support R&D activities.

Qualifications

  • Must be pursuing a college degree with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
  • Eligible for the co-op program for the duration of the contract.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical/material properties characterization under ISO/ASTM standards.
  • Support quality control inspections and checks.
  • Create documentation based on quality inspections.
  • Support R&D programs for materials and quality development.
  • Assist with AS9100, ISO17025, and NADCAP accreditations.
  • Perform functions under AS9100 quality management system.
