Qualifications

  • Current, active California RN licensure. BSN is preferred.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
  • Specialty certification in the area of practice within one (1) year of hire preferred.
  • At least two (2) years of critical care nursing required.
  • At least two (2) years of acute care leadership or staff development preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the nursing department to provide high quality, safe nursing care.
  • Oversee nursing activities including staffing and patient throughput.
  • Collaborate with other departments for staff development.
  • Lead in the absence of Hospital Administrator and make administrative decisions.
