Job summary

Agam Capital in Canada is seeking highly motivated and analytical students to join our office in Canada. The role supports M&A, reinsurance transactions, and new deal underwriting activities, and involves building asset and liability models for life insurance blocks.

You will analyze the insurance balance sheet for deal pricing, strategic asset allocation (SAA), hedging, and stress testing, and help optimize processes across actuarial, risk, and finance functions across operating entities.

Qualifications

• 3rd to 4th year in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• High academic achievement and at least 3 SOA exams passed.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a highly dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and/or Access.
