About the Role: Are you an aspiring actuarial professional with a background in P&C? Join our client who is a well-recognized consulting firm in Canada!

You’ll play a key role in supporting audits of P&C insurance clients. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your actuarial expertise within a leading professional services environment, providing valuable insights to top insurance clients.

This is a 6 to 8-week contract role with opportunity to join the company as a full-time employee. You can work remotely as long as you are residing in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the actuarial reserving work for P&C insurance clients
  • Perform actuarial reserving analyses
  • Review and validate reserving methodologies and data used by clients
  • Collaborate with audit teams and actuarial colleagues to ensure quality and accuracy of reserve estimates
  • Prepare detailed reports and support documentation for audit purposes
  • Stay updated on industry trends, reserving practices, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field
  • Pursuing or passed at least 2+ actuarial exams (e.g., SOA, CAS)
  • Priorwork experience in P&C insurance reserving preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, actuarial software
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
