TD Insurance in Montréal, Quebec seeks an experienced actuarial professional to develop analyses that identify trends, explain performance, and support decisions across the insurance portfolio.

You will build analytical solutions to monitor performance, assess pricing changes, and perform actuarial research to mitigate risk while enabling growth. Strong SQL and Python/R skills with Databricks/Power BI/Tableau experience are required.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science or another quantitative field.
• 5+ years of relevant actuarial or Property & Casualty insurance experience.
• Working toward ACAS or FCAS designation or equivalent.
• Experience with Databricks, Power BI, Tableau or similar analytics/visualization tools.
• Strong SQL and analytical programming skills (Python, R).

• Develop analyses that identify emerging trends, explain business performance and support decision-making across the insurance portfolio.
• Build analytical solutions that monitor business performance and reduce the need for recurring deep-dive analyses.
• Assess the impact of pricing actions, portfolio mix changes, and external factors on key metrics.
• Lead actuarial research, audits, and risk mitigation aligned with growth objectives.
• Translate complex findings into clear business insights and executive-ready recommendations.
