Position Title : Activity Leader
Location : YMCA Highland Family and Development Centre (155 McDermid Dr, Prince George, BC V2M 4T8)
Term : Permanent, Part-Time
Hours : 20 hours per week
Shift : Monday - Friday 2 : 00pm-6 : 00pm. Hours may fall within the operating hours of 7 : 30am - 6 : 00pm on NID and breaks.
Start Date : As soon as possible

Reports To : Supervisor of School Age Child Care
Join Our Team! We’re seeking a compassionate and collaborative individual to support our inclusive before and after school program. In this part‑time role, you’ll work closely with a dedicated staff team to create a welcoming environment where all children—regardless of their needs—can thrive. Responsibilities include supervising activities, providing individual support when needed, helping children navigate conflict, and role modeling positive behaviors. You’ll contribute to care plans, support children’s strengths, maintain an appropriate child to staff ratio, and ensure every child feels included and supported. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a child’s day while fostering a community of belonging and growth.
