Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking an Anesthesia Assistant to join the Richmond Hospital Operating Rooms. You will provide technical support during induction, maintenance and recovery, under the supervision of the Anesthesiologist and as part of the surgical team.

Responsibilities include preparing and operating anesthesia equipment, contributing to anesthesia care plans, monitoring patient responses, and upholding patient-centered care with a commitment to Indigenous, equity and inclusion

Formación

• Graduation from a recognized Anesthesia Assistant Program and current ACLS certification.
• Eligible for CAS membership.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Anesthesiologist with induction, maintenance and recovery of anesthesia.
• Operate, prepare and maintain anesthesiology equipment.
• Contribute to anaesthesia care plans and monitor patient responses.
• Work as part of the surgical team under supervision and independently as required.
• Participate in hospital committees/approved research projects.
