Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Buyer, you will define the purchasing strategy for in‑service spare parts, manage a supplier portfolio, and perform end‑to‑end procurement activities (supplier selection, contract and claims management, supplier relations, and competitiveness reviews).

Your Challenges:

  • Manage a portfolio of spare parts suppliers for replacements, fleet improvements, and any material services for the A220 program.
  • Support the definition and implementation of the Aftermarket Spare Parts purchasing Commodity strategy, including securing out‑of‑production parts.
  • Work closely with the relevant in‑service product/multifunctional team leader.
  • Manage the tendering and contracting process for spare parts, where applicable.
  • Contribute to the implementation of digital or required solutions and optimize ways of working and databases.
Requirements

You hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent in procurement or engineering in a field related to the aerospace industry.

You have experience in the aerospace industry or procurement (minimum 4 years).

Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in supply chain and purchasing.

Experience working with suppliers (minimum 2 years).

Experience in project management (principles and tools) (minimum 2 years).

An effective negotiator with proven commercial and contractual experience and legal knowledge.

Ability to lead meetings and implement the correct governance model.

Effective project management skills.

Knowledge of key financial indicators.

Proven communication skills, especially with supplier representatives.

Effective management of client and stakeholder expectations.

You are bilingual in English and French (spoken and written) with a negotiation level in English.

Benefits

40‑hour work week. Salary varies around 73K CAD depending on profile. Vacation: 3 weeks (calculated pro‑rata). Group insurance eligibility from the first day on the job. Pension plan eligibility after four weeks of continuous service.
