Responsibilities
- Define the aftermarket spare parts procurement strategy for the A220 program.
- Manage a portfolio of suppliers for spare parts, fleet improvements, and all material service support.
- Support the implementation of the aftermarket spare parts commodity purchasing strategy, including securing out‑of‑production parts.
- Work closely with the product/multifunctional lead for the relevant series.
- Manage the request for proposal and award process for spare parts when applicable.
- Contribute to the implementation of required digital solutions, optimize ways of working and data bases.
Qualifications
- Diploma of first cycle or equivalent in supply chain, procurement, or related engineering field.
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in aerospace industry or procurement.
- Minimum four (4) years of relevant experience in supply chain and purchasing.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience working with suppliers.
- Minimum two (2) years of project management experience (principles and tools).
- Effective negotiator with proven commercial and contract experience and legal knowledge.
- Capable of leading meetings and implementing proper governance model.
- Project management effectiveness.
- Knowledge of key financial indicators.
- Proven communication competence, especially with supplier stakeholders.
- Effective management of client and stakeholder expectations.
- Bilingual – English & French (spoken and written), negotiation level in English.
Benefits
- Salary: 73 000 CAD (varies according to profile)
- Full‑time: 40 hours per week
- Vacation: 3 weeks (pro-rated based on first‑year entry date)
- Group insurance: eligibility from day one in post, subject to required eligibility conditions
- Retirement plan: eligibility after four weeks of continuous service
