We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to help grow our business and contribute to our future.

The Accounts Receivable Clerks provides customer support for ISC’s internal client account management system. This position is also responsible for ensuring accurate processing of account-related transactions within financial reporting and related systems. Reporting to Operations Manager, Common Registry Services, other highlights include:

  • Providing operational support for customers’ inquiries, ensuring guidance and recommendation of value-added services.
  • Generating and verifying management reports and client statements.
  • Creating and maintaining customer deposit accounts, including recommendation and authorization of credit limits.
  • Processing account payments, financial adjustments, transfers, and refunds.
  • Providing confirmation of daily deposits and accounts receivable.
What you’ll need:
  • A Diploma in Accounting, or equivalent, and a minimum of 1 – 2 years related accounting experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills with working knowledge of accounting, including but not limited to tax legislation, accounts receivable, invoicing, collecting, electronic payment processing, and refunds.
  • General understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), audit standards and fundamental accounting processes, cycles, internal controls, and procedures.
  • Proficiency with accounting software, databases, spreadsheets, and word processing software.
  • Working knowledge of reconciliations, analysis, and variance reporting.
  • The ability to learn and retain knowledge of the corporation and its products.
  • Interpretation, and application of legislation, policies, and procedures to meet or satisfy financial reporting requirements.
  • Ability to ensure an understanding of confidential issues in the general working environment and ensure privacy of information.
  • Analytical skills required for financial analysis of client transactions.
  • Flexibility and organization to adapt to a dynamic environment and to respond effectively to and successfully complete non-routine work assignments, multiple tasks and changing priorities in a timely manner.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in dealing with highly confidential information.
  • Aptitude for identifying and actioning continuous process improvement opportunities with a balanced approach to risk mitigation.
  • Strong communication skills, with proven ability in building and maintaining positive, collaborative working relationships, in a team environment
