Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Administrator to manage full‑cycle AR functions for our residential properties. This role is responsible for rent collection tracking, tenant ledgers, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Post and reconcile daily rent payments and tenant charges
  • Monitor arrears and follow up on overdue tenant accounts
  • Prepare weekly and monthly AR reports
  • Work closely with Property Management and Legal teams on collections
  • Process NSF payments, chargebacks, and payment plans
  • Maintain accurate tenant ledgers in property management software
  • Prepare LTB balances, statements, and legal documentation as required
  • Respond to tenant billing inquiries in a professional manner
  • Assist with month‑end closing and financial reporting
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience (property management preferred)
  • Experience in residential or real estate accounting is a strong asset
  • Proficiency in Yardi, Property Vista, or similar property management software
  • Strong understanding of tenant billing, rent collection, and arrears processes
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive tenant information with confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and follow‑up skills
