A municipal government in Southwestern Ontario is seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Payroll Clerk. This role involves preparing invoices, processing payroll, and ensuring accurate financial records. Ideal candidates will have a business accounting diploma and strong analytical skills. Responsible for preparing accounts payable invoices and employee expense reports for payment, including allocation to appropriate accounts, obtaining the proper authorization for payment and verification that the goods invoiced were received in good condition. This position is also responsible for providing effective support to Accounts Receivable, County Reception and Payroll, including processing bi-weekly payroll for all County staff.
