Overview

Job title: Accounts Payable Lead. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day AP operations, including invoice processing, payment execution, and vendor coordination. The AP Lead manages a small team, provides guidance on complex issues, and ensures compliance with internal financial procedures. Additional responsibilities include system oversight, reconciliation tasks, and supporting month-end and year-end activities. The role also contributes to process improvement initiatives and maintains documentation of best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, payment execution, and vendor coordination.
  • Lead a small team, provide guidance on complex issues, and ensure compliance with internal financial procedures.
  • Provide system oversight, support reconciliation tasks, and assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and maintain documentation of best practices.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
  • 3+ years of accounts payable experience, including credit card reconciliation and resolving AP-related issues.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience - supervising or leading a team of 3 or more.
