Overview

Accounts Payable (AP) professional is responsible for accurately and timely processing of a company’s outgoing payments to vendors and suppliers, maintaining vendor records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. This role ensures compliance with internal controls, supports financial accuracy, and maintains strong vendor relationships.

What you will do
  • Review, verify, and process supplier invoices in systems such as SAP Ariba or IBS
  • Ensure proper coding and approval workflows are followed
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and compliance requirements
  • Prepare and schedule payments in accordance with company policies and deadlines
  • Handle overseas member firm payments and invoice accruals
  • Maintain adherence to tax regulations and internal financial controls
  • Support reconciliation between accounts payable and general ledger
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly
  • Maintain accurate vendor records and documentation
  • Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting requirements
  • Provide support for audits and internal reviews
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to increase automation and reduce cycle time

What you bring to the role
  • Experience: 1–3 years in AP or a similar accounting role
  • Familiarity with PO/non-PO processing

KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information

In British Columbia, the expected base salary range for this position is $43,000 to $60,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive, competitive Total Rewards program.
