  • Previous bookkeeping experience preferred.

  • Communicate with resorts regarding questions or concerns on invoices/accounts.
  • Process expense reports, ensuring verification of receipts.

Job description
Your Responsibilities
  • Reviewing and processing accounts payable invoices and resolving discrepancies
  • Issuing payments within company guidelines including weekly cheque runs and on demand payments
  • Vendor communication and statement reconciliation
  • Communicate with resorts questions, variances or concerns on invoices/accounts
  • Approval for Expenditure form tracking, numbering and reporting
  • Work with and build a strong relationship with other departments to facilitate AP information exchange
  • Working with team members to ensure accurate data entry and that all deadlines are met
  • Miscellaneous bookkeeping duties
  • Processing expense reports which includes ensuring verification of receipts, confirming authorization, coding and data entry
  • Vendor statement reconciliation and maintenance of vendor files
  • Miscellaneous filing and job-related duties as assigned
  • Cross training within AP and other accounting areas to assist with vacation coverage
You
  • Are enthusiastic and passionate for skiing and outdoor adventure
  • Possess excellent time-management, organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Maintain the ability to work well under pressure
  • Must be able to work both independently and with a team
  • Are proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrate a pleasant and professional demeanor
Required Experience
  • Certificate or diploma in accounting, business, or other related area
  • 1-2 years experience in accounts payable
  • Self-starter with ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of ACCPAC will be an asset
  • Previous bookkeeping experience will be an asset
