Job purpose

Responsible for maintaining supplier accounts accurately, dealing with suppliers on credits, new set up and any discrepancy in vendor statements, and making payments to suppliers.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Enter invoices against stock and non stock on Sage.
  • Verify receiving in Sage against PO and invoice.
  • Verify pricing against Purchase orders and invoices.
  • Enter Visa Transactions on Sage and match with SRF received.
  • Match Visa statement to invoices and allocate invoices to payment on Sage.
  • Contact suppliers for credits.
  • Ensure that all supplier invoices are approved before payment is made.
  • Enter credits.
  • Review aged payables on a weekly basis.
  • Run weekly payment run to suppliers.
  • Communicate with suppliers on payment details when questioned.
  • Print invoices from email.
  • Check statements from suppliers to make sure that we have all invoices entered.
  • Set up new vendors when needed.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
  • Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations.
  • Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 years AP experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to handle a heavy workload.
  • Driven by deadlines and extremely detail oriented. Being highly organized is essential.
  • Aim to prove that speed and accuracy can coexist.
  • Comfortable communicating with all levels of staff in the organization.
  • Enjoy working as part of a team while also being able to take an idea and drive it independently.
  • Embrace change because processes can always be improved.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
