Job summary

Battlefield Equipment Rentals in Stoney Creek, Ontario invites applications for an Accounts Manager. You will be the liaison between branches and customers, manage a portfolio, visit job sites, and develop opportunities.

This full‑time role offers CAD 70,000–80,000 base salary plus a competitive commission plan, pension, extended benefits, and growth within a Canada-wide leader in construction equipment rental. On-site role with opportunities to advance.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or customer-facing roles in construction equipment or building products.
• Strong oral and written communication; ability to build relationships with customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); familiarity with Systematics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships as the face of the branch.
• Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of customer accounts.
• Visit customer job sites and offices to assess needs and provide solutions.
• Develop internal relationships with branch teams to support customer success.
• Identify new business opportunities and follow up with prospective customers.
• Secure customer orders and communicate requirements to branches; ensure timely delivery.
• Deliver equipment to customers when required.
• Provide quotes for rental, equipment, and building products.
• Support after-hours events and on-call requirements as needed.

The Construction Equipment Account Manager (Sales Representative) plays a critical role as the direct liaison between our branches and our customers, helping to develop, maintain, and grow the relationships that drive our business forward. What You’ll Be Doing

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships while being the face of our branch by engaging with customers through phone, email, and face‑to‑face interactions with a professional attitude.
• Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of customer accounts.
• Visit customer job sites and offices to assess needs and provide solutions.
• Develop strong internal relationships with branch teams to support customer success.
• Identify new business opportunities and follow up with prospective customers.
• Secure customer orders, communicate requirements to branches, and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
• Deliver equipment to customers when required.
• Distribute and communicate promotional materials and programs.
• Provide rental, equipment, and building product quotations.
• Maintain flexibility to support customer schedules, after‑hours events, emergencies, and on‑call requirements.
• Collaborate seamlessly with your colleagues to create a supportive and efficient work environment.
• Follow all workplace safety protocols and environmentally sound practices, making sure everyone stays safe.

What We're Looking For

• Sales Experience: Previous experience in a related sales or customer‑facing role, with knowledge of construction equipment and building products.
• Customer Service Oriented: Excellent communication skills and a knack for making customers feel valued.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel.) Experience with Systematics would be an asset.
• Construction Knowledge: Familiarity with construction equipment and building products is an asset.
• Detail Oriented: High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• A Self-Starter: With a keen sense of time-management and effective planning skills.
• G Class Driver’s License: Full G Class driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
• Flexibility to work after hours, attend customer events, and participate in on‑call schedules.
• Ability to obtain a clear criminal background check is required.
• Familiarity with the territory.
