Job Details

Title: Accounting Technician

Location: 2629 KASLO ST, Vancouver, BC V5M 3G9 (On site)

Employment type: Permanent, Full time

Hours: 30 to 40 per week

Salary: $28.00 – $30.00 per hour (Negotiable)

Responsibilities

• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
• Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
• Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
• Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
• Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
• Prepare tax returns
• Prepare trial balance of books
• Reconcile accounts

Qualifications

Education:

• College/CEGEP
• Accounting
• Accounting technology/technician and bookkeeping
• or equivalent experience

Experience: Experience an asset
