A regional trade association for credit unions is seeking an Accounting Officer II to maintain the general ledger, prepare financial statements, and assist with budget processes. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Accounting and 3-5 years of experience. This permanent full-time position is based in Halifax, NS, offering remote work opportunities and a competitive benefits package.
Career Opportunity : Accounting Officer IIA TYPICAL WEEK : The Accounting Officer II works with a cohesive team as a key part of the Finance and Administration department and performs a variety of accounting functions, prepares financial statements, reports, and analyses relating to the general ledger to assist management in making prudent financial decisions. As the ideal candidate you will have successfully completed a bachelor's degree in Accounting, plus, have 3-5 years related experience and / or training in an accounting environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

This is a permanent full‑time position, with a salary range of $67,365 - $79,253. Atlantic Central and League Savings & Mortgage offers a competitive benefits package as well as the opportunity to participate in the Performance Sharing Incentive Plan.
LOCATION : This position will be based in our Halifax, NS office, but provides services throughout Atlantic Canada, so therefore offers the ability to work remotely as required. To start in January 2026
