Job Description

Another Mason Group exclusive! Our client is a well‑established Canadian business with over 30 years of success and a reputation for consistent growth. With operations continuing to expand, they are now seeking an Accounting Manager with strong accounting expertise to help scale the organization to its next stage.

This role is best suited for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment. If you prefer a highly structured setting with extensive guidance, this may not be the right fit. Instead, you’ll have the opportunity to apply your accounting knowledge, take ownership, working cross‑functionally with a lean team and directly impact the business.

The position is primarily on‑site, with some flexibility available after a successful onboarding period.

Our client is looking for a hands‑on Accounting Manager to keep their finance operations running smoothly as they continue to grow. Reporting to the CEO, this person will take ownership of day‑to‑day accounting, ensure accurate records, manage payments, and keep NetSuite up‑to‑date as the single source of truth. The Accounting Manager will also work closely with the fractional CFO on budgeting, quarterly reviews, and year‑end compliance.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering a clean and timely month‑end close, producing reliable financial reports, and keeping cash flow steady. You’ll oversee AR / AP with their outsourced team, review reconciliations, manage vendor terms, and file GST / PST. You’ll also work alongside Operations to streamline processes and use NetSuite for reporting and insights. Within the first few months, success looks like smooth closes, a standard reporting package, and a well‑organized payment process.

The client is looking for more than just an Accountant but an entrepreneur who will play a key role in the growth of the company.
